The New Incubator: Togetherness Makes Everything Possible

Hi guys, I am Jafar and this is my first article in this laboratory blog. Nice to meet you. I hope everyone always happy and healthy.

All of you can see the joy on the faces these 5 persons. Surely, there is something and reason behind it. Yes of course, we are very happy because our laboratory has a new Incubator to support our research activities. The joy that given from us not only we have a new incubator, but we are also able to lift the incubator whose total weight is approximately 200 kg of the 1st floor to the 5th floor through the stairs. Haah? Seriously?

Yups, last week after a new incubator come. We (Sato Sensei, Jafar, Haruta, Shirai, Taira, and one of my friend Windra) put down the incubator from the truck and pushed up into the campus buildings. Then we tried to move the incubator to use the lift. However, the new incubator could not enter into the lift. We all kept thinking, finally, on the first day we did not have a solution for moving the incubator and placed the incubator in the goods storage on the 1st floor only temporarily.

One week later on Monday after we finished our seminars, we tried to go to the first floor and headed to the room where temporary storage of our incubator. The four of us Sato Sensei, Jafar, Haruta, and Andre tried to thought however that day incubator should be in animal ecology laboratory in the fifth floor. At first we tried to lifted the incubator again, and that was very heavy. At that moment we are trying to reduce the existing load on the incubator. Yup, we take off the doors, and other materials in order to reduce the burden in the incubator. So it will be very easy for us to lift. After that, we tried to lift and we are grateful for the load becomes lighter before. Yeeey, is to be lifted.

Hmmm, our struggle is not only up there. The next challenge is to raise the incubator to fifth floor. Our first trial when moving from first floor to second floor we did it but still many obstacles. Then, Sato Sensei told me to called my friends. Initially I was about to called Windra and Rahmat, but only Rahmat that could help us because Windra was not in his room. Rahmat willing to help us. The struggle continues and we met African men and he gave support to lifted the incubator from the second floor to third floor. Then from the third floor to the fifth floor, we managed to lift the incubator then we pushed incubator in our laboratory, and it feels “woowww that was amazing,” haha. Then we also raised our material that we separated before we lifted the incubator then we must installed that material to the incubator. So, the incubator can use for supporting our research.

Tired? Yes, certainly. But tired can be covered with a cheerfulness that we carry. Togetherness that we do, will give more positive energy. That was very pleasant experience and should be remembered because with only 5 persons, we were able to lift the incubator. Nothing is impossible. All will be beautiful when we are trying to achieve it all with good effort. Ganbatte kudasai !!
