Weeding 除草

高坂農場にて除草やってまいりました。

朝７時から１０時まで３時間。晴耕雨読。

We went to Takasaka farm for weeding,

and it took 3 hours from seven in the morning.

２アール（200平米）の水田６枚の半分は除草剤不使用なので、

人力での除草を定期的に実施しています（ほぼ毎週）。

The paddy field we did weeding was a half of 6 fields, each sizes 2a or 200 square meters. As no herbicide has been applied, occasional weeding are needed like every week.

最近は常に忙しく学生諸君も疲れ気味ですが、ま、なまった躰を鍛える良い機会であると、ポジティブに考えてくれることでしょう。

All members tend to be busy and exhausted recently,

but all seems to be positive about it.

なぜなら動物生態学分野の学生なので。
