THE BEAUTIFUL WORLD (Harvesting Trap and Having a Beautiful Trip)

Friday, November 3rd was a very great day. Firstly because that day was a holiday. Holiday is everything for a student haha. And the second because Sensei asked us to do harvesting of trap on Sagae town (near Yamagata-shi). Actually this is lab activity for experiments but yeaa it could be said that we did a great trip also hahaaa. But unfortunately it was just some of our members, not all of us can go because some of our lab members has their own schedule.
We went together at 08.00 am. Before going, we prepared some stuffs needed for the harvesting. And after that we went to the place. The destination in Sagae town was a Chrysant flower cultivation land, and there were some of sticky traps that we would harvest. On the way to the destination place we talked some topics in the car.
And also on the way to the destination, we saw very nice and beautiful scenery. In Japan, when November comes it means that we can really enjoy the ungreen leaves and trees. Yap ! Because it is autumn so the scenery we saw during the trip was very typical of autumn, where the leaves change its color into brown or reddish brown. We also had time to stop to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We can see mountains that have started snowing. Wow !! this is really my first time to see snow on the mountain directly. How beautiful !! I am very excited to see the snow fall and hold it directly. The wind that blows hard enough can make smells of autumn stronger and make the feeling of being more free while sawing the nature view.
About at 10.00 am we arrived in the Krisan cultivation land in Sagae town. Because there were 2 areas, so Sensei devided us into 2 groups then we harvested the trap. The trap was on the left side of the row of plants and on the right side of the plant there was a label, so we harvested both. We only need 30 minutes to harvest all of that hahaha. Just imagine, we need about 2 hours to get the destination place, and need about 2 hours more to get back, but we only need 30 minutes for the harvested activity haha. But that was very great. Because on the way to go and back we had so many happy things.
After finishing the activities, we went back to faculty. And......... again and again, we need to use this opportunity goodly. We didn’t go back to the faculty directly. Sensei asked us, how about having an ice cream cone. Hahaha without thinking twice we just say YESSS. And yeaa Sensei bought us ice cream. Each of us choose different favour of it. After having an ice cream, we continued the trip
We had time to stop again to enjoy the good place in Sagae town. We went to one of some Dam in Sagae town. The dam has a water up until hundreds of meters high. This dam is the number 1 in Japan and number 4 in the world based on the height of the water up. Wow !! Very amazing !. We really can see it near enough and close, very fun.
Then, because the time already showed noon, Sensei asked us for having luch together. We had Soba noodle for our lunch. The food served was even beyond of my imagination. That was great because it served in a very large tray Soba noodle. And the most amazing things for me is how to eat the noodle. Sensei teach us how to eat noodle in Japanese way. When we eat the noodle, there must be with tipycal sound, it sounds like “sssssssrrrrrrrtttt”. Hahaha that was very fun to eat together in this way. Finally after having lunch and feeling full, we went back to Tsuruoka-shi to faculty. To save the memories we did, we took some photos of us, here are some photos. So, please enjoy hehehe....

Well actually, Niken have already write almost all of what we done on that day so I don`t have anything left to write. So I will just add some detail on what happened at that time.
We rode university car, go to Sagae through Gassan highway. It took about 2 hours to reach the destination. We spend that time by talking about anything. About politics, about Niken`s Japanese ability, about bikini, about Indonesia, Japan and so on.
The main purpose we went to Sagae is to collect the sticky traps for Prof. Sato`s experiment. There are two area that should be collected but because one of the chrysant cultivation was already ended by the farmer, the sticky traps at that area is not used anymore, just collect and put it into plastic bag (on photos above). It was like we are using magic, puff!, and all gone, because we worked very fast. And the time we spend to go there not comparable with the time we spend to collect this...
After collected the traps, go to dam, and eat soba, we go back to university. Spending time by talking and talking, and talking. This time we talked about health, about yakuza, about Indonesia and Japan again and again. I were sleepy but I tried to not sleep and heard the conversation. Shimura-san who sat at back of the car maybe difficult to hear the conversation but she tried to join it. Niken was happily hearing it, and Andre-san was very active to have a conversation.
It was a long trip, but enjoyable.
