This week almost everyday the weather is rain or cloudy but today the weather is very nice.

We do cleaning as usual and ready for doing each work. Suddenly Sato-sensei said to us,

"Why dont we go to climb?"

Actually we already planned to go climbing long ago, but because we had fields work or some other activity so we can not go at that time. Well for me, I dont want to go honestly because it will make me tired and make me dont want to do my work later. But there will be no other nice day such today, so we decided to go. Because this decision was sudden, I wore my culottes (skirt-likes pants) to go climbing. I think I was so stylish today haha..

Mountain we want to go is same as last time, Mt. Kinpo. We went there together by university car. On the way, we stopped by convenience store to buy some drink. After that we stopped by Takasaka paddy field to check the condition of the field. Many people worked there to prepare rice planting.

As soon as we reached the parking lot of Mt. Kinpo, we changed our shoes to rice planting boots and not to forget to pray for our safety. Two years ago, when I first went to climbing with everyone, my speed was very slow even I have stomach ache because I tried to catch up with everyone's speed. So this time we decided to walk slowly to reach the top of the mountain.

The sky was so blue. The leaves of the trees was so green. The temperature was not so cold and not so hot. Very comfortable for climbing. The insect was already out from their long sleep after winter and welcomed us. If you peek from the gap between the leaves you can see many paddy fields that ready for planting and whole Shounai area below. The scenery was so beautiful that made us stop for a while. There was some insect we found on the way.

This one is Japanese Tiger Beetle or in Japanese it called Hanmyou. He is a fearsome looking predator that have vicious jaws to clamp down on its victims, such as ants. His movement is very quick and we have the difficulties to took his picture.

The one that was squeezed by Shimura-san hand is click beetle or in Japanese it called kometsukimushi. It was named click beetle because he can jump backward (clicking) to avoid predator. His Japanese name came because this action looks like picking a rice.

We also found some egg when we went to survey last time but this time was not frog's egg but some amphibian egg.

In the middle of our journey, Sensei suddenly said,

"Please think a song that you want to sing acapela today"

Augh, this is very difficult question.

At the first stop site, Shirai-san offered himself to sing first. The song was "Umi yo" from Kayama Yuzo. The second was Sensei. He was singing some old song but unfortunately I dont remember what was the song. At the second stop site, Hoshi-kun was singing her elementary school's song and Fukuda-kun was singing "Sen no Kaze ni natte". What a unique choise.

The last stop site is the top of mount Kinpo. We take a breath first, drink some water, take some pictures. After a while, it is the turn for the girls to sing. I sang Indonesian song. The title is "Disaat kita bersama", in english it means "When we are together". Shimura-san was singing "You raise me up" and Niken sang the soundtrack of Titanic with title " My Heart will Go On". Everybody sang with so much confidence and made the climbing fun. When we felt it is enough rest, we decided to go down and go back to the car and back to university.

It was a sudden decision but we are really glad that we go today because nice weather and clear sky is really rare in Tsuruoka these day and the scenery from Mount Kinpo in spring is was really beautiful. Tomorrow is Saturday so we can relax our body to the fullest.
