オープンキャンパス

今まさにオープンキャンパス真っ盛りの研究室で記事を書いている私。まぁ日曜日だからいいよね、さぼってるわけではないし。水田の水生生物を観察してみよう！的なノリで研究室開放をしています。この時期の水田は、中干などの影響で生き物が少ない中、私たちの実験水田は中干無しの自然栽培、生物もてんこ盛りです。日曜朝一人寂しく生き物を採取してまいりましたが、無事、心優しい高校生たちが遊びに来てくれました、というところでパチリと一枚。（後ろで立っている紳士は星君）

Now we are in an open campus activity, and I am writing this. It is Sunday, so so no problem. We open our lab for observing aquatic organism in rice paddy field. At this time of the year, there use to be limited number of organism in rice paddy because of its temporal drainage. But our fields hold water always, and natural farming methods has been applied., resulting plenty of creatures. For this activity I collected some organism in this early morning, and thankfully some young gentlemen visited our lab. (Older gentleman in the center is Mr Hoshi) So I took a picture below.

「いや、そうでなくて作業してる感じで頼むよ」との横暴なリクエストにもかかわらず、すなおに答えてくれた彼ら未来の研究者たちに感謝です。

No no, I wanted you to be more natural, and they kindly responded to my a bit rude request. Yeah, I thank those young scientist in the future. God bless you all.

その後も終了時刻の14:30まで来客が途絶えることなく、親御さんもふくめ30人くらいいらっしゃいました。来てくれた方々どうもありがとうございました。TAで対応してくれた星君、ブニンさん、どうもお疲れ様でした。

After that we keep having a number of visitors until the end of activity. And in total, we could have about 30 people including parents of young students. I thank you all for your coming to our lab, also for Hoshi kun and Bening san for your supports.
