Weeding 除草

Some members of lab went to our paddy field for weeding. Without actual experience of environmental friendly agriculture sometime we lightly say that that farming is good. It would be good, but you must pay more efforts, which is often tougher than you think. As you know it was very hot today, 3 hours work in the field was really something. No body knows how it was but you may see from our smile and appearance.

研究室のメンバー何人かで実験田の除草へ行ってきました。実際の経験なしでは、我々は時に軽々しく、環境保全農業っていいよね、と言ってしまいがち。確かにそれは良いでしょうけれど、それ相応の努力をしなくてはならず、その努力は我々の想像を超えることもままあります。ご存じのように今日はとても暑い日。そんな中、野外で３時間働くってなかなかこたえました。それがどんなものだったかは誰もわからないでしょうけれど、我々の笑顔と作業着の様子から何か伝わるでしょうか。
