2014年夏。

そうそれは私がまだ大学1年生だったころ。

私はここ、山形市で議員さんと一緒に活動するインターンシップをしていました。

2014, Summer

When I was a first year of Yamagata University,

I took part in the Internship program which accompany with one of the city council member in Yamagata city.

そして、2018年夏。

あれから4年経った今、私はここ山形市へ帰りインターンシップをしています。

Now, 2018, Summer.

It has been for years, and I start the Internship in Yamagata city again.

今回のインターンシップ先は、結婚式場の「パレスグランデール」

In this time, I went to “Palace Grandeur”, Wedding hall

ではなく、その施設内に併設されている「IVY」という認定NPO法人で行っています。

小学生の時に、JICAの方が講演に来てから、ずっと興味があった国際協力の仕事。その現場を見せていただいています。

But, I work in “Approved Specified Non-profit Organization IVY”, attached to wedding hall. I am interested in the job related with developing country, from I took a lecture from JICA staff when I was an elementary school student.

実は私、トビタテ留学JAPANの山形の地域人材コースでインドネシアに2か月間行かせていただくことになりました。そのコースには留学前後で20日間の県内企業のインターンシップが組み込まれており、今回はその事前インターンシップとして10日間おいてもらう予定です。特に最初の5日間は、小白川に通う3年生の女の子2人と一緒です。

I am going to go to Indonesia for two months through TOBITATE program of Yamagata in this year, and the course includes the internship in Yamagata for 20 days before and after staying abroad. In this time, I will participate for 10 days as before one and two girls who are 3rd year Yamagata university students will also participate especially for first 5 days.

初日から自分の知識のなさに打ちのめされていますが、この貴重な10日間をどう過ごすのか、考えさせられる良いきっかけになったのではないかと思います。

From the beginning of this Internship, I felt my lack of knowledge and studying, but that made me think how I would spent this valuable time.
