2週間のインターンシップが終わりました。
2週目は仙台と福島でのイベントにてワークショップに参加したり、支援しているプロジェクトの振り返り資料を作成させていただきました。
I finish my Internship. In the second week, I participated in The Work shop of refugee in Sendai and Fukushima and made material for following up.
特に福島でのイベントへの移動中、ワークショップやIVYの活動について、ワークショップの心得やIVYの歴史などいろいろなお話をスタッフの方とさせて頂きました。そのお話のキーワードは「つながり」でした。
On the way to the Fukushima, staff of IVY told me about the key of work shop and the history of IVY and so on. The key word in the conversation is “RELATIONSHIP.”
今まで行き当たりばったり生きてきた私にとっては、心に刺さる内容でした。IVYの今ある活動も人と人の関係からなっていることや、ワークショップの持ち方も、その参加者とのつながりで良しあしが決まることなど、いかに「つながり」が大切なのかということを考えました。
That was home truth for me who my life doing in a haphazard way. The all activity of IVY was made by relationship with persons and to make good relation with participants is most important to do good workshop, you know, I realized that Relationship is very important.
また、資料を作成していく中で、この活動は生半可なものではないことを心から感じました。「困っている人を助けたい」という思いを実現するためには、お金が必要です。しかしそんな簡単に降ってくるものではありません。
Through making documents, I learned that this movement is very serious work from my deep heart. We know we should collect money if we want to come true the feelings to help somebody. But money can’t come down like rain even if we really want to do that.
さらに、開発がもたらす人々への影響を考えることも重要です。国が発展すれば今までの生活が変わります。しかし、それによって問題が生じることもあります。例えば生活習慣病の問題です。国が発展したことによって、もともとの食生活から変化します。それによって、体調を崩してしまうということが実際に起こっていました。
And, it is more (or most) important to consider “Is it really make them happy to support their development?” The life style will be changed along with that development of country. Now I can tell you one example of lifestyle related disease. After country development, the eating habits also will be changed. Then sometimes it caused the diseases to people in fact.
本当に「便利」な世の中は、「幸福」をもたらすのだろうか。

また、1月下旬にお伺いするときまで、この与えられた場所で一歩ずつ進んで行こう、そう決意しています。
I really appreciate that Staff of IVY tell and show me so many things and questions.
I am going to do my best step by step until I will see you again.
