When I was a kid, I always imagined what it would be like to see and feel snow directly. What is the texture, taste, and cold when touching the skin. I always dreamed that someday I could see and experience winter in other countries, and now I experienced it.

It's been almost 2 months since the winter started in this town. People say that Tsuruoka is one of the towns which popular for its thick snow and very strong winds, so it's not surprising when the first snowfall occurs in this town, the thickness could reach more than 1 m. Not infrequently, weather forecasting warns of storms or strong winds, because if there is a storm, no one dares to leave the house.
As the name suggests, winter is when everything can be frozen, and it does not rule out the possibility that it can also freeze me (hehehe). When in other seasons I can run around as I want, cycling everywhere, but in the winter, I have to prepare my legs to move anywhere because the road is too slippery and dangerous. When in other seasons I can do any activity I want, but in the winter, even going to the kitchen is very lazy because the temperature is too cold. When in another season I want to hurry up, but in the winter, it seems like lying down under a warm blanket is more interesting than anything. My daily activities have changed dramatically than usual due to very low temperatures. However, that is not a reason to do nothing right?

From the beginning, I tried to adapt to the winter. Warm clothes, electric blankets, warm carpet, warm water, and heater are always our daily mainstay. It's really a new habit that I've never done in my whole life. Not only that, but my skin also getting dry and dry so I have to do well treatment for that. My feet become frozen when I step outside even wearing winter shoes. Maybe it’s kind of frostbite. My throat hurts a little probably because of very low humidity. But now everything is okay (hopefully haha). I remember I was very amazed and glad when I saw the first snowfall in this town. At that moment I felt that I should not freeze during the winter, because there are many people out there want to see snow directly. I tried to enjoy this winter, trying to do my usual activities (even though I still can't ride a bicycle), fighting the bone-chilling cold, and keeping my body stable.
I’m looking forward for other activities! Let’s break the freeze!
