On 9th May 2019, our laboratory has some visitor from B2 student. We have to introduce our laboratory “Animal Ecology” to them. Events start in the morning from 8.50 am. B2 student divided into 8 groups (4-6 people/group). Each group has 20 minutes. We introduce our lab with a poster presentation, tour to the Insectarium, and the last simulation of the lab morning meeting. Poster and tour to insectarium were guided by a domestic student. For simulation lab morning meeting, all students (domestic and International) also Sato sensei joined in the seminar room.
In the simulation of lab meeting, Sato sensei in the first time introduced and explained about laboratory feature to students using Japanese. And after that, we start the meeting using English. Many students look like inconvenient, but some of them curious about our study also meeting and seminar using English. Then for additional information, Sato sensei also tell about our lab blog and winter school program in Indonesia. Due to the limited time, maybe some of them still felt curious and wonder. So hopefully, they can ask in the tatekon party next week. I hope many students will enter this laboratory in the next year.
