Research on snails タニシの調査

本日、院生の白井君とタニシ調査。

午前中だけの予定が、つい楽しくて。夕方まで。

快晴の素晴らしい調査日和の中で。

それにしても、軽トラックって本当に便利ですね。

こんな感じで荷台に乗っての調査も可能。出会った農家さんが言うには、

タニシが増えだしたのはここ２０年くらいとのこと。

昔はもっと大きなタニシが沢山いた。

当時は子供会でもタニシを集めて、しょうゆで煮て食べたとのこと。

これは面白い。

研究室の李君をいつかつれてこよう。

李君は卒論でタニシ食について研究しようとしている、なんか面白い人です。

I went to the field for research on snails with Mr. Shirai.

It was only in the morning, but in fact in the afternoon as well,

as the research was interesting and comfortable in the very fine day.

I learned how much this small track is useful.

The farmer we met said,

the snails here were larger and more abundant once upon a time.

Kids enjoyed collecting them and their mum cooked with soy source.

This reminds Mr. Li, who is going to study snails as foods for his graduation study.

He should visit here in some days.
