Wanpaku activity

日を追うごとに暑さが増していますね。

そんな中、私と3年生の李君はわんぱく農業というイベントに参加しました。

The heat increases with each passing day.

During that time, I and Lily participated in an event called Wanpaku activity.

子どもたちに田んぼの生き物と触れ合ってもらうことが目的です。

最初はクイズをメインにしようとしていました。

が、佐藤先生から「カエルの嘔吐」はどうかと提案されました。

嘔吐ですよ。最初は気持ち悪いですよね。

そこからカエルの嘔吐技術の習得が始まりました。

The purpose is to have children interact with rice fields.

At first I was trying to make the quiz main.

However, Dr. Sato suggested that "frog vomiting" be considered.

It is vomiting. It is uncomfortable at first.

Mastering of vomit technique of frog began from there.

2週間前から圃場でカエルを採取し、実験室でtryです。

李君は上達が早くコツをつかんだよう。

私はへたくそで何度かカエルに申し訳ないことをしてしまいました。

、、、殺したりはしていませんよ。

We collect frogs in the field for two weeks and try in the laboratory.

It seems that Lily has got the skill quickly.

I was apologetic to the frog a few times...., I did not kill.

不安はありましたが、いよいよ当日。

天気は晴れ。圃場はからから。カエルはゼロ。

イベント開始までにカエルを集めることからスタートです。

歩き回り、なんとか必要量は確保できました。本当に良かった。

I was anxious but finally it was the day. The weather is fine. The field dried. There is no frog.

It starts from collecting frogs by the start of the event.

Walking around, I was able to secure the necessary amount somehow. It was really good.

イベントは好評でした。

とにかくカエルは子どもの人気ものです。カエルの嘔吐法にも興味津々です。

「うわー、気持ち悪い」「かわいそう」

子どもたちは優しいですね。

いっしょに参加されていた保護者の方々も関心を持ってくれました。でもやっぱり気持ち悪がっていました。

The event was well received. Anyway, frogs are popular with children. They're curious about the vomiting method of the frog. "Wow, I feel sick" "Pity" The children are kind. The parents who participated together were also interested. But they still felt sick.

カエルの体内にはアリやコウチュウ、クモ、ダンゴムシがいました。

少しでも子どもたちにカエルの食性をしてもらえてよかったです。

ただ子どもたちの記憶に残ったのは、もしかしたら嘔吐法かもしれません。

帰った後、カエルで試してほしくはありませんが。

There were ants, coleoptera, spiders, and pill bug in the frog's body. It was good to have the children eat frogs as little as possible. The only thing left in the memories of the children may be the vomiting method. I wish they don't try it after getting home.

イベント終了後も田んぼの生き物を採取したい子がいました。

生物って魅力的なんですね。網を渡すと夢中になってなかなか帰ろうとはしません。

自分もこんな時期があったんだろうなと思うと少し残念。

There was a child who wanted to collect creatures in rice field even after the event. Living things are attractive. If they bring the net, will not be addicted to return home. It's a bit disappointing to think that I also had such a time.

また来年もだれか参加すると思います。
