As on the scheduled, we (Me, Tiara, Adit, Kamila and Fitri) will doing internship in Animal Ecology Lab, Faculty of Agriculture, Yamagata University for around 2 month. We prepared so well all the accommodation to make sure we won’t get lost on our way to Japan. First of all, we had to departure at 18:25 (July 13, 2019) from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur and it took almost 3 hour. Before we flight we had a farewell party with our parents. I was so emotional! This is my first time i’ll living in other country for more than 1 month and i can’t get home so easily when i miss my parents

We're gonna miss all of you so much!

We arrived in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 21:30 and we had to move to other terminal for the next flight at 23:30.

Kuala Lumpur, Cheers!

We departured at 23:30 from KLIA to Narita International Airport, Japan. Then we arrived in Narita at 7:40 (July 14, 2019). We were safely arrived in Japan!

Japan, here we are!

Even this is my 2nd time for came to Japan, this is my 1st time for came to Japan without anyone can guide all of us. Last year i come here for Winter School and International Symposium. Before came here, i read some blog of traveler about “how to uses transportation in Japan”, “how to know the route of bus or train for going somewhere in Japan” and all kind like that because we have to move from Narita to Haneda for the next flight in 8 hour. For me, as the one who ever came to Japan at least i have to guide all of my friend to be safe till we’re in Tsuruoka even i can’t speak in Japanese and read Kanji or Hiragana. Like my mom said, “Just be confidence to ask someone or you’ll get lost on your trip!”

Hi Japan, it's me again!

Like i said, i read some blog about "how to uses transportation in Japan". So, we choosed Limousine Bus for move from Narita to Haneda. It costs 3.200 yen for 1 seat. It’s pretty expensive if we comparing to bus in Indonesia for a short trip but it all paid off because it’s on time and also so comfort to have trip with it.

We're waiting for the bus

The bus is quite comfy!

We arrived in the noon at terminal 2 of Haneda airport after one and half hour trip by bus. We planned for have a lunch in there but we were too afraid for buy some meal because as muslim we can’t eat some food that contains such as pork and alcohol which is commonly easy to find here in Japan. We also searched on internet about Halal foods in Haneda airport but we can't find it and maybe they're in the different terminal. So we just bought some drinks then we looked for the ANA counter for check in and placed our baggage.

Terminal 2 Haneda Airport

We had flight for one hour from Haneda to Shonai Airport. We departured at 15:55. The sunshine can be seen from the window. I waited for order an apple juice, as always. As plane going move away from Tokyo, suddenly i just realized how lucky i am. I can comeback in Japan for study and learning some new things! You know, sometimes i wondering what will come soon. As a muslim my beliefs is whatever i planned, God always have better. What we want is not what we need. He knows what’s best for me. As long as i put my workhard and pray the result will compatible as my efforts.

Sunshine makes the scenery more beautiful, isn’t it?

Time flies so fast and we already arrived in Shonai Airport. We saw Sato Sensei and Shirai-san waiting for us in the lobby. Sato Sensei waving hands on us and Shirai-san smiling at us. After one year like i first met them in Yogyakarta, they still have the same heart warming smile and also Japanese culture-to-say-hi like take a bow. We walked to their car with our big baggage and they drove us to our homestay in Higashinsai with small talk in car and also some laughs.

Hello Tsuruoka! It’s so nice to see you again.
