夏から秋へと移り変わり、徐々に涼しくなってきました。
寝るときにはそろそろ毛布が必要です。
そんな中、毎年恒例？の収量調査の準備をしました。稲のサンプリングです。
参加者は私と佐藤先生で、素早く、集中して作業しました。
冒頭に話した気候の変化ですが、当日は夏のようでした。暑かったですね。
4枚圃場があるのですが、一人2枚を担当し、80株をカマで刈り取りました。
終了後はセブンイレブンに立ち寄り、少し休憩しました。
飲み物とお団子をごちいそうになり、佐藤先生には感謝です。
しかし大変なのはこれからです。今週に収量調査を控えています。新たに入室する留学生と一緒に頑張ります。
タニシの力が明らかになると嬉しいですね。

The participants were me and Prof. Sato, we worked quickly and intensively.
The climate change I mentioned at the beginning, but the day was like summer. It was hot.
There are 4 paddies, we were in charge of 2 paddies per person. We harvested in total 80 stocks with a paddle per person.
After the end, we stopped by Seven-Eleven and took a break. I appreciate Prof. Sato for having a drink and a dumpling
However, it will be difficult from now on. We are preparing for a yield survey this week. I will do my best with the new international students.
