First Schedule: Feed The Snails

Yesterday, 16 September 2019, it was my first schedule to feed snail in insectarium of laboratory. It is my first time had a schedule to feed the snail. I am very excited. My impression about this insectarium is very nice because this insectarium was neat and clean. Other lab members (Dewi-san and Ilmam-san) helped me to work my job. Before we work this job, my tutor (Shirai-san) explained to work this job step by step. Thank you for my tutor and other lab members for helped me very much.

昨日はじめて飼育室のタニシに餌をあげました。とても楽しかったです。飼育室は清潔で整理されており非常に良い印象を受けました。ほかのラボメンバーのデウィさんとイルマンさんが手伝ってくれました。私のチューターの白井さんは仕事内容を丁寧に説明してくれました。本当にありがとうございました。

First, we feed the snail with leaf of broad-bean from germinator. We only need 5 broad-bean plant. We cut this stem first, after that we put this plant in the container cultured jumbo snail. Don’t forget to water the bean to grow up. We also water the bean above broad-bean plant so this plant can germinate quickly.

まず私たちは恒温器で育てているのソラマメの葉をタニシに与えました。5本のソラマメが必要です。茎を切りそれをジャンボタニシの水槽にいれます。忘れてはいけないのが種への水やりです。ソラマメが早く発芽できるよう水を与えます。

Beside that, we also feed snail in different treatment. We feed the snail with artificial feed in insectarium in treatment (there was snails in the container) and control (no snails in the container).

その横の異なる処理を行っているマルタニシにも人口餌を与えます。片方はタニシの入った水槽、もう片方はタニシがいない水槽です。
