HIRAMEKI Activity

HIRAMEKI Activity held at 9/28. The title is 『Considering biodiversity-Interaction between soil microorganisms, plants, and insects- 』 This activity is to invite high school students to the university and have a lecture experience, High school students are attended 3 part lecture(microorganisms, plants, insects). It is including Sato-sensei's lecture. Sennsei was in charge of insect. We ware prepared for the experimental activity. Compare the ground beetle in control and weeding area using a pitfall trap. We need to set and collect 48 traps the previous day.

ひらめきときめきサイエンスが9/27に開催されました。

題目は『生物多様性を考える-土壌微生物・植物・昆虫間の相互作用-』です。

この活動は高校生を大学に招き講義を体験してもらうというものです。

高校生たちは3人の教授の授業と実験自習を受講しました。

その中には佐藤先生の授業もふくまれていました。

私たちはこのイベント内で行われる実験実習の準備をしてきました。

無処理区と除草区にピットフォールを仕掛け地這性節足動物の個体数を比較するという実験です。

私たちは事前にサンプルを回収する必要がありました。

前日に48個のピットフォールトラップを設置し回収しました。

At first, high school students look at the difference in control and weeding. After that. Divided into 5 groups and counted insects we collected.

The result is control→13.1 weeding→9.3(Each trap average)　 And thinking ｗhy the numbers are different and the vegetation difference how affected to the insect. Every group presents

some interesting consideration. I think it was good observation and logical.

まず高校生の皆さんにに圃場の様子を見てもらったあと5班に分かれ虫の計測をしました。

各トラップの平均がコントロール区13.1匹、無処理区が9.3匹という結果になりました。

除草処理によって植生がどうかわるのか、その変化がどのように節足動物に影響を与えるのか、

皆さん様々な考察をしてよく観察し論理だてる事ができていると感じました。

High school students ate together. I enjoyed chatting about my college life and their future. I actually participated in this seminar when I was a high school student four years ago. The feelings at that time seemed to be revived.

I hope them to enter a university of choice and live a wonderful university life.

高校生と皆さんとは一緒に食事摂りました。そこでは大学生活や将来の事など雑談を楽しみました。

実は自分も4年前高校生の時にこのセミナーに参加していました。

その当時の心境がよみがえってくるようでした。

彼らにはぜひ志望校に入学し素晴らしい大学生活送ってほしいです。
