Three years ago, my friend and I had a desire to continue studying in the State of the sunrise. yeah .... 'Japan' we know this country with very beautiful cherry blossoms. three years passed, I finally managed to land in Japan. Even though it's only a student exchange, I'm very happy. I landed in Japan's busiest city "Tokyo". I said "Horrreeee .... I'm here". But, I think how to adapt to Japanese culture?
This is my first time leaving Indonesia. I feel happy because I have a new experience in my life. I feel happy to be able to live in Yamagata, precisely in Tsuruoka-Shi. The place is very comfortable to live and study. I think this place is not much different from Bandung, Wonosobo and Malang in Indonesia. For approximately 3 weeks I felt there were some very clear differences between Indonesia and Japan. Examples such as food, daily life and a little cultural differences. Here, what makes me proud is the orderly community, especially transportation.
It's very different between Indonesia and Japan. Here all riders follow all driving rules including pedestrians and cyclists. There is no traffic, the number of motorbikes is small so there are no cars that precede the car in front of it is a sight that can be seen on the road. Regarding food, here I rarely find spicy food. One thing that I miss from Indonesia is the traditional market, where we can find many items that we want to buy.
I hope I can return to this country, maybe to continue my PhD study. Overall, I like living here ...
