Corgito ergo sum 我思う、ゆえに我あり

Corgito ergo sum this word has influence me so much since I was in bachelor degree in my previous university UNPAD. One of my lectures, Entomology lecturer, said in his subject to ask a question always. Do you know what is the meaning of that? The meaning of that word is “I think, Therefore I am”. That word was coming from French philosopher Rene Descartes. I think this word is so strong to influence me because if I am existing in this world, I should think something to make the world become better. But It is not just useful word for change the world but for change our self like when we are in the meeting or class, we should always give some feedback to someone or active in the discussion to make everything well, isn’t it?

“我思う、ゆえに我あり”という言葉は私に学部時代（UNPAD：インドネシア）から大きな影響を与えてきました。私の師の一人、昆虫学の教授は講義でいつも質問をしてきました。これがどういう意味か分かりますか？これが“我思う、ゆえに我ありです”これはフランスの哲学者Rene Descartesの言葉です。私はこの言葉が非常に感銘を受けました。なぜなら、私が存在する限り世界をよりよくすることを忘れてはいけないからです。この言葉は残念ながら世界を直接的に変えることはできません。しかし、私たち自身を変えます。講義や会議の時、その時間をより有意義にするために積極的に発言しフィードバックしていくべきではないでしょうか？
