Rearing golden apple snail

As I know, golden apple snail is an invasive species in Japan. Golden Apple Snail (GAS) lives in the paddy field, lake or pond. In this time, I had an opportunity to rearing golden apple snails. I got the egg from adult snails that collected from Saitama. First, I tried to keep the eggs with a small cup and circle net in the room with a temperature of 20°C. Unfortunately, the eggs have not hatched for a long time. I already give up waiting for the apple snail’s eggs to hatch. After that, I decided to move the eggs into the incubator at the temperature 25°C and yeah, the eggs hatched. I got more than twenty juvenile golden apple snails. Juvenile apple snails growth so fast. I am grateful. I can keep the apple snail alive. I did it.
