RAMADHAN SPECIAL DISHES

In Indonesia we have special food only can be find in Ramadhan, that is Kolak. Kolak ingredients are banana, sweet potato (optional) , pumpkin (optional) brown sugar and coconut milk only but usually in Indonesia we use pandan leaves. How to cook it is only boiled water with brown sugar block until melt and water colour change become brown. After that, put slice of potato and pumpkin and boiled in brown sugar water until soft then put in banana slice. Last, add coconut milk around 200 mL to the boiled kolak. You can serve while it hot or cold. It is good to eat after we have one day fasting, it can bring back your energy.
