Books for identification

この頃は生物の同定で朝から晩まで大忙しです。卒論で田んぼの生き物をあつめています。そしたら捕れたものが何なのかをはっきりさせなければなりません。それには図鑑をつかっています。その中から私の気に入っているものの一部を紹介します。

Currently, I am very very busy with the identification of creatures morning until night. I am collecting creatures from paddy for my thesis. Then I have to make sure who is. It is really hard work but enjoyable. Some books are needed for it. I want to introduce a favorite and part of it.

まずこれは『田んぼの生き物図鑑』

田んぼの生き物を知るにはこれが一番だと思います。微生物から哺乳類、藻類から雑草まで何でも載っています。 First, 『An illustrated the book of paddy creatures 』. I think that this is the best book to know about paddy creatures. This book shows microbial to mammals, algae to macrophytes everything with pictures.

そしてこれはハンドブックシリーズ

各生物ごとに特化しています。特にゲンゴロウのやつは読み込んでいます。 And, "handbook" series. This is specializing in each animal. Water beetle's one is read frequently.

他にもこれだけでなく原色図鑑シリーズなどの同定手引きなども使っています。

図鑑に熱中するあまり仕事を忘れることも・・・ These aren't the only ones I use. But some identification manual or so on. I often get so engrossed in my illustrated books that I forget to work...
