Cherry-Picking

I was surprised when I saw the fresh cherry fruit sell in the supermarket. Even though the price is expensive I still bought one small box of cherries. I want to know the taste of fresh cherry fruit. I never eat fresh cherry because I only found the candied cherries in Indonesia. The first time I tried to eat cherry, the taste is sweet with a little sour. The fruit contains a lot of water. I love the taste. It was great! I love cherry. I want to eat more and more.

Not only the fruit, but I also want to know more about the cherry tree. So, I decided to go to cherry-picking last Sunday on 5 July. I went to cherry farm in Nishikataya by bus. The farm is large with many varieties of cherry, such as sato nishiki, beni yutaka, sayaka beni, honghu peak, napoleon and red temari. All of the fruit was delicious, but my favorite is sato nishiki. The taste is very sweet. I love it very much. It was a very good experience to have cherry-picking in Tsuruoka. As I know, Yamagata is the best cherry supplier in Japan.

スーパーで新鮮なさくらんぼが並べられているのを見たとき、私は驚きました。値段は高かったのですが、少量の物を買いました。私は新鮮なさくらんぼの果実を味わってみたかったのです。インドネシアでは砂糖漬けのさくらんぼしか見なかったので、私は今まで新鮮なさくらんぼを食べたことがありませんでした。初めて食べたさくらんぼは少し酸味がきいた甘い味でした。果実には水分がたっぷり含まれていました。私はその味が大好きです。素晴らしい味です！私はさくらんぼが大好きです。もっともっとさくらんぼが食べたいです。

私は果実のことだけでなく、さくらんぼの果樹のことももっと知りたいです。だから私は先週の日曜日7月5日にさくらんぼ狩りに行くことを決めました。私は西片屋のさくらんぼ農園にバスで行きました。農園は大きくて、そこには佐藤錦、紅ゆたか、紅さやか、紅秀峰、ナポレオン、紅てまりのようなたくさんの品種のさくらんぼがありました。どの果実も美味しかったのですが、私のお気に入りは佐藤錦です。その味はとても甘いのです。私は佐藤錦が大好きです。鶴岡でのさくらんぼ狩りはとても良い経験になりました。山形県は日本で最もさくらんぼを供給している所なのです。
