Vegetable cultivation (野菜の栽培)

This week, some friends and I did an activity of planting vegetables in our field. Previously, In the previous 2 weeks ago, we did weeding and the soil tillage. All of the activity we using a machine. Honestly, it is not new to me, even in Indonesia I also use the same tools and carry out activities as usual. However, what makes me pleasure is I can doing cultivate vegetables here in Japan. In our field, there is chili and watermelon. Long before, we also borrowed campus land to grow some vegetables such as eggplant, chili, water spinach, and horenzo. I remember the days of being a farmer in Indonesia. This is my way to refreshing when I feel stress.

今週、私は友人達と私達の圃場で野菜の定植を行いました。私達はこの2週間ほど前には除草と耕起作業を行いました。その作業の全ては機械を使用して行いました。正直なところ、私はインドネシアでも同じ道具を使って作業をしていたので、私にとっては新しいことではありませんでした。しかしながら、私を楽しませてくれることは、日本のこの場所で野菜の栽培をすることができていることなのです。私達の圃場にはトウガラシとスイカが植えてあります。ずっと前にも私達は大学の敷地を借りてナス、トウガラシ、ヨウサイ、ホウレンソウといった野菜を育てました。私はインドネシアで農家をしていた日々のことを思い出します。これが私のストレスを感じた時にリフレッシュする方法なのです。
