Young students get old soon

百年前の山大生である。正確に言えば旧制高校の山高生だ。旧制高校は帝国大学への進学前に勉強するような、そんな過去の教育制度による学校だ。現在の山形大学の前身がそれである。山形市を流れる馬見ヶ崎川、それを見下ろす千歳山などが、山高生の散歩コースだったと。帽子にマント、腰に手ぬぐい、朴歯の下駄。当時の学生の一般的なファッションである。寮歌を歌いながら闊歩する彼ら。今の時代の学生とそんな変わらないようにも思えるし、大分変っているようにも思える。ちなみに私は首にタオルをかけるのが好きだが、腰にタオルもなんだか便利そうでいいなぁ。今こんな時代だからこそ、若い学生には猛烈に勉強して欲しい。教科書だけでなく、いろいろな社会勉強も含めて。コロナだからを理由にせず、オンラインでやれることも沢山あるはず。

100 years ago student of our university looked like this in the picture. Well at that time Yamagata university was highschool in former education system, so it is different from the current highschool and students and prepared for entering National university such as Tokyo university. The blidge in on the Mamigasaki river and it is a course for those students for walking. In general, they weared a mant and a cap. Also they weared Geta, made of wood, magnolia. You can see one of them weared a whilte towel on the chest. This is very general fachion of students on these days. They sang a song of student fome while walking. It seemed not very different from students now a days. Young students from Indonesia, study harder, everybody get old in some days soon.
