NEW NORMAL FOR MILLENIAL AND Z GENERATION

この時代に知っているように、私たちはミレニアル世代とZ世代の2世代を持っています。ミレニアルは1980年から1994年に生まれた世代であり、ジェネレーションZは1995年から2015年に生まれた人です（Foot＆Stoffman、1998年、スガンダ、2020年に引用）。この2つの世代の特徴は似ていますが、違いもあります。この2世代は現代に住んでいます。彼らのほとんどは新しいアイデアと革新を改善することを好みます。主に、ミレニアル世代はより楽しくて望ましい新しいイノベーションを見つけることに焦点を当てています。しかし、z世代はより野心的で競争力があります。この2世代はテクノロジー時代に生きているため、テクノロジーへの関心が高まっています。今年はパンデミックに直面するはずです。つまり、一般的な状況のような人々に会うことはできません。多くの世代にとって、この状況に適応することは困難ですが、ミレニアル世代とZ世代にとって、今年はより創造的で、生き残るために新鮮なアイデアと競争力を与える年になるはずです。私たちはテクノロジーの時代に住んでいるので、在宅勤務は問題になりません。今日、Zoomとgoogle meetは収益性の高い会社になりました。なぜなら、私たち全員がこのアプリを使用して多くの活動を行うべきだからです。この2世代にとって、これは身近なことだと思います。日本に来た時、ある団体/コミュニティに参加しました

インドネシアの学生のために、私たちは「在日インドネシア留学生協会/ Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia di Jepang」と呼び、この組織は日本全国に広がっています。先週、私たちは東京のインドネシア大使館とオンラインで会議をしました。この方法は、日本全国に広がっている政府と私たちをつなぐ上で非常に有効です。この会議では、インドネシアの改善に対する若者の世代の役割について話し合いました。私たちインドネシア学生会は、インドネシアの顔を日本人に紹介する重要な仕事をしています。その意味は何ですか？それは、日本とインドネシアの間で協力し、共に発展するという私たちの精神と動機を意味します。このテクノロジーの新しい通常の時代と新しい時代において、私たちは協力して新しいイノベーションを一緒に作ることができます。すべての国のミレニアル世代とZ世代は、明るい未来を作るために同じ精神を持つべきだと思います。だから、新しいノーマルへようこそ！

As we know in this era, we have 2 generation, millennial and Z generation. Millennial is a generation born from 1980 to 1994 while generation Z is someone who was born from 1995 to 2015 (Foot & Stoffman, 1998, as cited in Suganda, 2020). This two generation have similar characteristics but they also have difference. This two generation live in the modern era, most of them like to improve new idea and innovation. Mostly, millennial focus on finding new innovations that are more fun and desirable. But z generation is more ambitious and competitive. Because this two generation live in the technology era, it makes them more interest with technology. This year we should face pandemic, it means that we can’t meet people like common situation. For many generations is hard to adapt in this situation, but for Millennial and Z generation, this year should be our year to be more creative, giving a fresh idea and more competitive to survive. Working from home shouldn’t be a problem, because we live in the technology era. Today, Zoom and google meet become high profitable company, because all of us should use this app to have lot of activity. For this 2 generations I think this is familiar things. When I came to Japan, I joined with some organization/community

for Indonesian student we call “Indonesia Student Association in Japan/Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia di Jepang” this organization widespread all areas Japan. Last week we have some meeting by online with Embassy of Republic Indonesia in Tokyo. This method is very effective to connect each other with government and us, which is spread all around Japan. In this meeting we discussed about the role of youth generation to the improvement of Indonesia. We (Indonesia student association) has important job to introduce to Japanese about the face of Indonesia. What is the meaning of that? It’s mean our spirit and motivation to work together and develop together between Japan and Indonesia. In this new normal and new era of technology, we can collaborate to make a new innovation together. I think Millennial and Z generation in all nation should have a same spirit to make a bright future. So, welcome to new normal!
